பைக்கில் வந்து தாக்குதல்; 8 பேர் அதிரடி கைது: நெல்லை தென்காசி மாவட்ட காவல் துறை தீவிர நடவடிக்கை..

பைக்கில் வந்து தொடர் தாக்குதல் குற்றத்தில் ஈடுபட்ட 8 பேர்களை திருநெல்வேலி மற்றும் தென்காசி மாவட்ட காவல்துறையினர் கைது செய்தனர். 28.05.2026 அன்று திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம், அம்பாசமுத்திரம் காவல் நிலைய எல்லைக்குட்பட்ட பிரம்மதேசம் பகுதியில் மணிகண்டன் (29) என்பவரை இருசக்கர வாகனங்களில் வந்த கும்பல் வழிமறித்து பணம் கேட்டு மிரட்டி, அவரது இடது கை விரலில் காயம் ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டு தப்பிச் சென்றது.

அதே கும்பல், வாகைகுளம் பகுதியில் உள்ள சிற்பக்கலை தொழிற்கூட உரிமையாளர் செல்வ கணேசனை மிரட்டி பணம் பறிக்கும் நோக்கத்தில் அங்கு சென்ற போது அவர் இல்லாததால், அங்கிருந்த பொருட்களை சேதப்படுத்தி, அங்கு பணியாற்றிய நபரிடமிருந்து செல்போனை பறித்துக் கொண்டு, அங்கிருந்து தப்பிச் செல்லும் வழியில் சாலையோரமாக நடந்து சென்ற ஒருவரை தாக்கி காயம் ஏற்படுத்தினர்.

இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து, 29.05.2026 அன்று மாலை தென்காசி மாவட்டம் ஆலங்குளம் காவல் நிலைய எல்லைக்குட்பட்ட நெட்டூர் பகுதியில், முன் விரோதம் தொடர்பான வாய்த்தகராறின் காரணமாக இருசக்கர வாகனங்களில் வந்த அதே கும்பல் ஆறு பேரை தாக்கி காயம் ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டு தப்பிச் சென்றது.

மேலும், அங்கிருந்து தப்பிச் செல்லும் போது திருநெல்வேலி மாவட்டம் மானூர் காவல் நிலைய எல்லைக்குட்பட்ட தெற்குப்பட்டி பகுதியில் அதிவேகமாக சென்ற இருசக்கர வாகனங்களை கண்டித்த நிலையில், சாலை ஓரத்தில் இருந்தவர்களுடன் ஏற்பட்ட வாய்த்தகராறில் முபாரக் (30) மற்றும் அப்துல் ரஹுமான் (36) ஆகியோரை தாக்கி காயம் ஏற்படுத்திவிட்டு தப்பிச் சென்றனர்.

மேற்கண்ட சம்பவங்கள் தொடர்பாக அம்பாசமுத்திரம், ஆலங்குளம் மற்றும் மானூர் காவல் நிலையங்களில் வழக்குகள் பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டு விசாரணை மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது. சம்பவம் தொடர்பான தகவல் கிடைத்தவுடன் திருநெல்வேலி மற்றும் தென்காசி மாவட்ட காவல் துறையினர் உடனடியாக உஷார்படுத்தப்பட்டனர். கூடுதல் காவல் படை களமிறக்கப்பட்டு, இரு மாவட்டங்களிலும் ஆயுதம் ஏந்திய தீவிர வாகன சோதனைகள் (Vigorous Armed Vehicle Checks) மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டன.

குற்றவாளிகளை கண்டறிந்து கைது செய்ய ஒருங்கிணைந்த தேடுதல் மற்றும் கண்காணிப்பு நடவடிக்கைகள் தீவிரப்படுத்தப்பட்டதுடன், வழக்கமாக குற்றவாளிகள் பதுங்கக்கூடிய இடங்களிலும் சோதனைகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டன.

திருநெல்வேலி மற்றும் தென்காசி மாவட்ட காவல் துறையினர் மேற்கொண்ட தீவிர தொடர் நடவடிக்கைகளின் விளைவாக, மேற்கண்ட சம்பவங்களில் தொடர்புடைய 3 இளஞ்சிறார்கள் உட்பட மொத்தம் 8 பேர் இதுவரை கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். தலைமறைவாக உள்ள மற்ற குற்றவாளிகளை கைது செய்வதற்கான நடவடிக்கைகள் தொடர்ந்து தீவிரமாக மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரப்படுகின்றன.

இரு மாவட்டங்களிலும் ஆயுதம் ஏந்திய வாகன சோதனைகள் தொடர்ந்து நடைபெற்று வருவதுடன், குற்றவாளிகள் தொடர்பான தகவல்கள் பல்வேறு வழிகளில் சேகரிக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. மேலும், ட்ரோன், மோப்ப நாய் படை உள்ளிட்ட நவீன தொழில்நுட்ப வசதிகளும் விசாரணை மற்றும் தேடுதல் பணிகளில் பயன்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

அதேபோல், திருநெல்வேலி சரகத்திற்கு உட்பட்ட அனைத்து பகுதிகளிலும் ரவுடிகள் மற்றும் சட்டம்-ஒழுங்குக்கு அச்சுறுத்தலாக செயல்படும் நபர்களுக்கு எதிராக Anti-Rowdy Drive நடவடிக்கைகள் மிகப்பெரிய அளவில் தொடர்ந்து மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

சரித்திர பதிவேடு கொண்ட குற்றவாளிகள் மற்றும் வழக்கமாக குற்றச் செயல்களில் ஈடுபடுபவர்கள் தொடர்ந்து கண்காணிக்கப்பட்டு, அவர்களின் செயல்பாடுகள் குறித்து விசாரணை நடத்தப்பட்டு, தேவையான தடுப்பு மற்றும் சட்ட நடவடிக்கைகள் எடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகின்றன.

பொது மக்களின் அமைதி மற்றும் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதிப்படுத்தவும், வன்முறைச் சம்பவங்களைத் தடுக்கவும், சட்டம் ஒழுங்கை சீர்குலைக்கும் குற்றவாளிகள் மீது கடுமையான நடவடிக்கைகளை எடுக்கவும் திருநெல்வேலி மற்றும் தென்காசி மாவட்ட காவல்துறையினர் உறுதிபூண்டுள்ளனர்.

On 28.05.2026, In Tirunelveli District, within the jurisdiction of Ambasamudram Police Station at Brahmadesam area, a person namely Manikandan (29) was intercepted by a group of persons who came on two-wheelers. The accused persons attempted to extort money from him and caused injury to his left hand finger before fleeing from the spot. The same group visited the sculpture workshop belonging to Selva Ganesan at Vaagaikulam area with intention of getting some money from him but he was not there. While fleeing from the area, the accused persons assaulted a person walking along the roadside and caused simple injuries.

Meanwhile, on 29.05.2026 evening, at Nettur village within the limits of Alangulam Police Station in Tenkasi District, due to previous enmity arising out of a verbal dispute, similar group travelling on two-wheelers assaulted six persons before fleeing from the spot.

Thereafter, while fleeing through TherkuPatti village within the limits of Manur Police Station in Tirunelveli District, the same group travelling on two-wheelers at high speed got involved in a verbal altercation with local persons walking on the roadside. During the incident, the accused assaulted two persons namely Mubarak (30),Therkupatti and Abdul Rahuman (36), Therkupatti those who standing on the roadside and caused injuries before escaping from the scene.

For above incidents FIRs have been registered in Ambasamudram, Alangulam, Manur Police Stations and investigation is going on Immediately upon receipt of information regarding the above incidents, police personnel throughout the Tirunelveli and Tenkasi districts were alerted. Additional police force was deployed and Vigorous Armed Vehicle Checks are being were conducted across both districts. Coordinated search and tracking operations were simultaneously launched to trace and nab the accused persons involved in the offences. Usual criminal hideouts are being searched.

During the intensive follow-up action carried out by Tirunelveli and Tenkasi District Police, total 8 accused have been arrested so far including three juveniles involved in above offences.

Further strong efforts are continuously being taken to secure the remaining accused persons involved in the offences. Intensive armed vehicle checks are being conducted throughout both the districts and information relating to the offenders is being collected through multiple channels. Modern technological methods like drones, dog squad are also being utilised as part of the investigation and tracing process.

Further, Anti-Rowdy Drives are continuously being conducted throughout Tirunelveli Range on a large scale. History-sheeters and habitual offenders are being monitored and enquired into, and suitable legal and preventive actions are being initiated based on their criminal antecedents and activities.

Tirunelveli and Tenkasi District Police remain committed towards maintaining public peace, preventing violent offences, and taking stringent action against rowdy elements disturbing law and order.
